As we step into 2025, the EMMIR team would like to send warm wishes to our global community of students, alumni, and partners.

Wendo and Lydia share a greeting to the EMMIR community, etched into fresh Tanzanian coffee!

This year, Wendo Olema, who represents MUST in the EMMIR consortium, and Lydia Potts, Consortium Coordinator, found themselves on a unique journey in Tanzania, Wendo’s home country. During their travels, they had the opportunity to visit a small-scale coffee farm, learning firsthand about the art of coffee production, from pressing to branding. In true EMMIR spirit, they couldn’t resist adding a personal touch: branding the coffee with the EMMIR name!

As this year unfolds, may it be full of learning, connection, and inspiration. Here's to another year of shaping migration studies and fostering intercultural relations.

Cheers to 2025!
