Charles's story: 'EMMIR: Unlocking Opportunities for Everyone'

The EMMIR program was exceptional, especially since I was on a scholarship, which made my life remarkably easy. My experience was nothing short of amazing. This multidisciplinary program offers extensive knowledge dissemination, as I learned from different universities. For instance, professors from Uganda, Slovenia, Germany, Stavanger, and India provided African, Asian, and European perspectives on migration and intercultural relations. The mobility aspect of the program makes the learning experience more realistic and empirical, as I gained insights from my movements.

The program embodies an interdisciplinary approach and a knowledge transfusion, effectively integrating rich, diverse perspectives of students selected from different continents around the globe.
