Alejandro's MA thesis: stories of migration in 1747

Cohort 7 graduate Alejandro Salamanca is absolutely passionate about history. As a historian himself, he looked at each and every EMMIR course through the lens of history, which resulted in a fascinating research project named "A floating microcosm: stories of migration in 1747". Why floating? Well, because he did outstanding historical research about a ship that made the route Spain - Mexico in 1747, gathered dozens of letters and documents that helped him draw an interesting picture of the complexities of migration in the 18th century.
