Applying to EMMIR

Thank you for your interest in applying to the European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations. The following information is intended to help you to prepare a competitive application for our programme. The application process is coordinated by UOL and supported by the online application manager, EMundus. The final admission decision is taken by the Selection Board consisting of members of all partner institutions.

* All deadlines are at 23:59 CET (German time).

** As a fee-paying student: 

  • You may apply after the other deadlines until 15 July 2025 or until study places are full.

  • You do not need to have your diploma and transcripts of your first degree finalized upon submission of your application.

  • Your participation costs will include insurance and all university fees. 

  • You will be eligible for partial scholarships from semester 2 onwards. Scholarship applications can only submitted after registration in EMMIR.

A note on privacy:

Please be informed that if you apply to EMMIR, your data will be stored and may be used for the purposes of evaluating the programme, efficiently managing the

project, and producing statistics. Information relating to individuals (personal data) is collected and used in accordance with the Regulation (EC) N° 45/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18.12.2000 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data (OJ L8 of 12.1.2001, p. 1).

The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), in the context of managing the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters, collects and processes the personal data of some of the candidates. In particular, certain data of the scholarship holders and non-scholarship holders is shared with the Agency and treated according to this privacy statement 

 

Data could be made available to the EACEA, the European Commission, the European External Action Service staff, as well as to other stakeholders of the Erasmus+ programme, such as Erasmus+ National Agencies, National Erasmus+ Offices, and the Erasmus Mundus Student and Alumni Association.

A note on communication with EMMIR:

Please note that the EMMIR team does not have any official WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, or other groups, and we are not participating in nor monitoring any privately created groups. All official enquiries about applications to our programme should be directed to us via email.
